Learn About the Bundled Payment Redesign Process
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act contains a number of provision for improving the delivery of healthcare in the United States, among the most impactful of which may be the call for modifications in the packaging of and payment for care that is bundled into episodes. The move away from fee for service payment models to payment for coordinated care delivered as comprehensive episodes is heralded as having great potential to enhance quality and reduce cost, thereby increasing the value of the care delivered. Apply for the Health Policy Fellowship
We believe in the importance of engaging young, future members of AAHKS, to assure they remain involved throughout their careers. The Health Policy Fellowship (HPF) program was created to provide an opportunity for future AAHKS members to get involved in the policy-making process, and to help them become effective advocates. The goal of this program is to provide Fellows with the requisite exposure, training, and skills to prepare for the advocacy of health policy efforts of AAHKS. Full Details.
